Vesta
Coastal communities, habitats, + infrastructure are threatened by climate change + sea-level rise. Vesta adds a carbon-removing sand made of the natural mineral olivine to eroding coastal systems. It reduces ocean acidity + removes carbon dioxide permanently.
Vesta joined the Town of Southampton, NY to spread olivine sand along a beach in the North Sea Beach Colony to help advance climate science research.
